The Call:
Firestarters is a 3-6 month internship designed primarily for those who are living full schedules, but want to devote either 8, 12, or 20 hours a week to the House of Prayer. Interns will be introduced to the vision, values, culture, and lifestyle of the House of Prayer.
There are 2 tracks in the Firestarters Internships. Track I is geared towards rewiring our worldview from the prevalent western greek worldview towards a more biblical hebraic worldview. Track II is geared to further equip those who have completed Track I for practical ministry in light of the worldview and concepts taught in track I. After experiencing first-hand what it would be like to be on staff at IHOP-EG through Track I, interns would have the option of pursuing these final 3 months of the internship, to get equipped in a practical way for the transition to ministering as staff at the House of Prayer.
Our life is like a vapor, and where ever you may be in life, there is wisdom in taking a season of consecration. For this reason, Firestarters also welcomes those who are just looking to spend a season of consecration before the Lord within a community of like-minded believers.
