The Lord is raising up an end-time prayer and worship movement, composed of every tribe, tongue, people and nation that will usher in the second coming of His Son, Jesus Christ. We at IHOP-Eastern Gate embrace the call to extend 24/7 worship and acts of justice to include intercession for and outreach to the deaf community.
Our mission is to bring the gospel to the remaining 97% of the deaf and hard of hearing who do not know Him. This global unreached people group has a calling, a purpose and an inheritance in God, which we are working to make accessible to them, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray.Hear.Live! exists to bring the love of God, and His healing, restoration and power to those of this tribe and tongue and their families.
We will do this by:
• Building a prayer movement dedicated to crying out for salvation and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon this group worldwide
• Creating opportunities for the deaf to participate in the prayer movement
• Creating a community where the deaf and hard of hearing can be equipped in
Christ
• Working to bring the light to every dark place where marginalizion, oppression, abuse or slavery exists for them.
The deaf and hard of hearing represent a vital part of the body of Christ, and the Lord is worthy of their praise. Therefore we are preparing a place for sign language prayer to be raised up as a pleasing fragrance unto the Lord.
