Book Synopsis

Creation is groaning, Satan is raging, and the believer is watching and praying. All redemptive history is leading up to the finale of the ages: the return of Jesus to Jerusalem to bring redemption to the earth. The scriptures reveal the glorious plan of restoration, but the church seems to have ignored the events leading up to that day. Before the “great and terrible” Day of the Lord, there will be unmatched and unprecedented trouble that the earth will experience. How will the church function in that day? Are we just going to wait for martyrdom? Will we hide and wish for the rapture? This book will show us that in the midst of deep darkness the people of God will deliver a great light to the earth empowered by Jesus Himself! The Messiah will hold open the end-time doors for the church to not only live through the time of trouble but flourish in the purposes of God. The reader will be led through Revelation 3 and look back to the origin of the statements that Jesus made to the church of Philadelphia. The reader will see that this is a picture of the faithful church given certain promises of endurance through the doors that Jesus will personally hold open. It is the anchor of hope for the end-time believer and the last days church to know that there will be un-shuttable doors of ministry that will be a part of the overcoming nature of the end-time Bride. In each chapter is an unfolding of the wisdom of God through a line that is drawn from Isaiah to Revelation that will bring the church into a degree of confidence to persevere unto Christ’s return.
