for the Month of April 2023.
JOHN 15:9–10
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
SUMMARY OF THIS MONTH’S COR14 MESSAGE :
- The LORD reminded us that we have been invited to His banqueting table where intimacy with the Bridegroom can be cultivated. Song of Solomon 2:4–5 “He brought me to the banqueting house, And his banner over me was love. Sustain me with cakes of raisins, Refresh me with apples, For I am lovesick.”
- It this intimacy that in turn undergirds our confidence to trust in the LORD for the trials and tribulations that we face.
- This month the LORD highlighted that we should prepare for a season of increased preparation for the coming trouble. Therefore, it is a call to increase a trust in the LORD that is rooted out of His abiding love for us and our response to Him.
- This month’s verse from John 15:9-10 reminds us that His abiding love remains with us as long as we remain in Him even when we are away from the banqueting table and enduring the trials that we face in the valley.
