The center of all that we do at our missions base is our prayer room. Currently we operate 60 hours a week, six days a week with live, worship-led prayer meetings. We endeavor to exalt Jesus night and day and to see region-wide transformation. We believe that there is power in praying and singing the Word of God and that God wants His Church engaging in consistent corporate worship and intercession. We use the scriptures as a prayer guide to help us identify the things that are on God's heart for our generation. While we are always willing to pray for someone’s individual needs, this is definitely not our primary focus here. Instead, we want to contend together for the big-picture items on The Lord's agenda. A few of those are: for Israel & Messianics, for the Church& Ministries, for the return of Jesus, for Missions and Evangelism, for justice and revival.
Sign up for a Prayer Set
If you are a singer, musician or prayer leader, and you are wanting to get involved in helping to lead one of the prayer meetings, we need you! We’ve been building worship teams and adding new sets for over 13 years, and we’re thankful for the volunteers who’ve given their time and energy to help us move toward 24/7 prayer. In our prayer model, each prayer meeting utilizes a variety of roles and skill sets. We are currently auditioning singers, musicians and intercessors who can take one devotional set a week or help strengthen our current worship teams.
Interested in joining a worship team or leading worship in our house of prayer?
We'd love to have you worship the Lord with us in this capacity! We do require a small audition (don't worry — it's super simple), so we'd like to have you connect with a member of our worship department to get started. Please click on button below or email joshl@ihopeg.org and be sure to include your first and last name, what instrument(s) you would like to audition for, and any questions you have. Someone will be in touch with you soon.

Community Intercessor
All full time and part-time staff of the Prayer Room are Intercessory Missionaries in ministry to the Lord as their primary occupation. The House of Prayer only functions day and night in this region due to the difficult but unwavering calling of these individuals that have answered this last days ministry of the “fire of worship” continuing before the heavenly altar of the Lord. They serve on daily prayer meetings either as a musician, singer or prayer leader. They participate weekly in evangelism and/or social justice activities. They uphold integrity in ministry and personally as a mandated responsibility to serve the Lord and to serve their neighbor and the region for the gospel.

Our full-time staff serve approximately 40 hours per week, which includes 20 hours serving and participating in the prayer room and 20 hours in service and ministry. The full time staff are the heart of the missions base and keep the operation of night and day prayer focused, flowing and fulfilled. Full time staff positions are designed for those that have a calling into full time ministry and are willing to make give themselves to prayer and the word as the priority of their calling. All of our full time personnel raise support as full time missionaries through partnership with those in the body of Christ. Most of our full time staff have served over 5 years with regular bi-weekly support payments (based on their partnership), housing (if available), and matching 401-K participation.

Our part-time staff serve approximately 20 hours per week, which includes 10 hours serving and participating in the prayer room and 10 hours in service and ministry. They may or may not raise support and some have used this designation to supplement their part time church position that they may give service to outside of the House of Prayer.

Our volunteer staff are called Community Intercessors and serve approximately 8-10 hours per week. We ask for a weekly commitment of at least 2 prayer meetings and as they have availability to attend our weekly staff meeting and evangelism. This position is designed for those that already work a full time job, for those that are busy with other commitments, for a stay at home parent, or a retiree. This is a great way to be intricately involved with the House of Prayer and significantly contribute to the workings and mandate of the Missions Base.
