REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!

The 2023 SFM Summer Youth Intensive is HERE!!

Monday,  AUGUST 14th - Friday,  AUGUST 18th

Our Vision

We long to raise up a generation of teenagers loving Jesus with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength! Longing and crying out in the context of day and night prayer for Christ to return for His beloved bride. A generation made ready with hearts zealous for preparing the way of the Lord in the likeness of John the Baptist. A Generation of Luke 1:17 And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous-to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT

As a running theme in this New Year, the Lord has directed us as a team to focus on LIFE IN THE SPIRIT.  Though we live in a world of darkness that is tainted by sin, God still calls us to love Him, and to be holy.  We are commanded to walk in the newness of life that is made available to us through the finished work of Christ. But we are incapable of doing this in our own strength.  We need help.  We need The SPIRIT! The aim and focus of "Life in the Spirit" series, is to help SFM students become more acquainted with the person of the Holy Spirit, as distinct from the Father and the Son, and to help them understand His role in their lives as their leader, friend, and most important of all, their God!

We Meet Friday Nights

7:00pm - 9:00pm

One of the resources that we will be using as a tool to grow in our understanding of the Holy Spirit, will be a book written by Francis Chan entitled, THE FORGOTTEN GOD. The book will be available to you and your youth for a small fee. We encourage every parent to purchase one of these books for their teens, as much of our discussions and teachings will be framed around the contents found in this book. The book will give many opportunities for your youth to engage in deep introspection as the Spirit leads, as well as provide context for group discussions and teachings. We look forward to embarking on this intimate journey with the Holy Spirit as He instructs and teaches us how to lovingly obey our God and King and leads us in the life of the Spirit!

YOUTH INTENSIVE

The vision of the Summer Intensive is to equip and give tools to sustain the youth in prayer and intimacy with Jesus. This intensive is meant to refresh and replenish students for the upcoming school year. We know the difficulties our students face in school every day and we want to prepare them through the Word of the Lord and have them experience God in a tangible way.

       Meet the team.

Nearly every summer, he's invited as guest speaker to minister to inner city youth in Pennsylvania for Inspire Sports Camps. He remains passionate about sharing the truth of God's Word, with an unwavering commitment to Biblical orthodoxy, as well as the importance of prayer and worship, as a solid foundation in helping youth to walk through their faith journeys. But more than that, a runner himself, he coming alongside the youth encouraging them to keep running the race of faith,  till the finish line.

Belle Abreu

SFM Leader
Isabelle, AKA Belle, has served with SFM since the summer of 2021 when she volunteered to be a part of that summer’s Youth Intensive. Belle joined the SFM leadership team officially in early 2022 with a privilege to serve the Lord through ministry to a rising generation of young people in this region, encouraging them to “fan into flame the spiritual gift God gave them”, and keep doing so even after leaving youth on Fridays, church on Sundays, and camp in the summers. She grew up as an active part of her Brazilian church community down the shore, and after her family moved further north during the pandemic, began attending the House of Prayer regularly for Sunday community upon invitation from her fiancé, Kennard. Belle is committed to equipping today’s youth not to just be Sunday Christians, or swept up by the flow of the culture or the times, but to stand firm on God’s word and be disciplined in seeking to know Him and make Him known through a life defined by all-encompassing worship, His Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers unto Christ’s return.

“Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless and with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now and forever. Amen.” — Jude v. 24 ♡
